Best Maps & location MCP servers
Maps and location MCP servers give an agent geospatial abilities — geocoding an address to coordinates and back, searching for nearby places, computing routes and travel times, and pulling distance matrices and elevation. With them an agent can answer location-aware questions, enrich records with place details, or plan an itinerary without you wiring up the maps API yourself. The thing to check is which provider backs the server and how it's keyed, since results, coverage, and pricing follow the underlying maps platform. Note that the original reference Google Maps server was deprecated, so prefer a maintained option, scope the API key to the specific APIs you need, and watch quota since geocoding and routing calls bill per request.
