Your team's agent memory, inside Claude.

Glen keeps what your team's coding agents worked out: the decisions, the incidents, the reasons code is the way it is. The Claude connector puts that memory, plus the org's shared skills and documents, one tool call away in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps.

What you need

  • A Glen account. Sign in at app.tryglen.com, or use Start free at the top of this page to create one. Search, skills and artifacts all work on the Free plan.
  • Any Claude plan that can add connectors: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an owner may need to allow custom connectors first.

Connect Glen to Claude

  1. 01
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and add a custom connector (or pick Glen from the directory once it's listed).
  2. 02
Name it Glen and paste the server URL:
    https://mcp.tryglen.com/mcp
  3. 03
Click Connect. Glen's sign-in page opens. Sign in with Google, GitHub, an email link or a password, choose the organization whose memory this connection should use, and approve. The connection reads and writes that one organization; to use a different one, disconnect and connect again.
  4. 04
Back in a chat, turn Glen on from + → Connectors and ask a question about your team's past work.

How it works

Recall, on request

When a question needs your team's history, the model calls glen_search. Glen runs the question against the organization's memory and returns an answer with a citation for every claim, so you can open the source.

Nothing is recorded unless you ask

The connector does not capture your chats. It writes only when a tool you approve does: saving a skill or artifact, importing a conversation, forgetting a memory, changing a setting. Each of those tools declares that it changes data, so the client can ask you before it runs.

Your access, nothing more

Every tool runs as you, inside the organization you picked at sign-in. Results include only what you could already see in the Glen dashboard.

Using Claude Code?

Install the glen plugin instead of the connector. It records your coding sessions into team memory and recalls on every turn, which a chat connector can't do.

Try asking

  • Why did we move search off Elasticsearch, and who decided?
  • What caused the last payments incident and how was it fixed?
  • Find our deploy skill and tell me whether I can ship today.
  • Save this runbook as a Glen artifact and share it with the org.

Tools

Every tool the Glen server exposes. Read-only tools never change anything; tools that write or delete act only on your own account, or on content you wrote. The MCP server reference lists each tool's inputs, outputs, behaviour hints and limits.

What Glen sends and stores

  • The arguments of each tool call: your search question, or the skill, artifact or conversation you asked Glen to save.
  • Your account and organization, from the sign-in token.
  • Glen returns answers drawn from your organization's memory, the skills and artifacts you can see, and your settings. It never returns another organization's data.

Everything goes to your organization in Glen and nowhere else. Retention, deletion and the services Glen uses are in the privacy policy and the list of sub-processors.

Turning it off

Disconnect from Claude

Remove Glen under Customize → Connectors. Claude stops calling Glen straight away.

Pause Glen everywhere

Ask the model to set your glen mode to off (glen_set_recording), or change it in the Glen dashboard. Off recalls nothing and records nothing on every machine and agent.

Delete what Glen holds

Forget a single memory with glen_forget, or write to support@tryglen.com to have your account and its data deleted.

Privacy and support

What Glen stores, how long it keeps it and how to have it deleted are covered in the Glen privacy policy. For anything the policy doesn't answer, write to support@tryglen.com. Stuck on setup? The support page says what to include.
